This is A family favourite for tourists. It is a two-hour journey in a colourful bus that takes you to key Beatles locations. The bus leaves from the Albert Dock at 10am, but you need to be there 30 minutes before. They strongly suggest advance booking on this tour. You will get to see some awesome places on your tour including the following stops.
- Childhood home of Ringo Starr
- George Harrison’s Birthplace (passengers get off the bus here)
- Penny Lane (passengers get off the bus here)
- St Peter’s Church Hall (where John and Paul met for the first time)

Walking Beatles Tour For families
If you are looking for something more energetic and want some fresh air, walking tours offer a more intimate experience. The standard tour takes about 2 hours and starts at the cruise area of Liverpool.
- Beatles Statue: As you walk along the dock area, you can get a selfie with The Beatles as they look across the Mersey.
- Whitechapel: The area around Whitechapel is routed in The Beatles story. You will visit locations that are forever placed in the Fab Four history.
- Derby Square: Passing by The Hard Days Night Hotel you will visit Derby Square, you will have chance to take some photos in front of the imposing statue of Queen Victoria, which is also the setting for a famous photo of The Beatles.
- Liverpool Town Hall: As you walk towards the Town Hall you will hear about its role in the music history of Liverpool.
- Eleanor Rigby Statue: A great photo opportunity, as you hear about her famous musical creator and her Liverpool connection.
- Mathew Street: As you walk towards Mathew Street – home of the Cavern Club, you will be truly walking along a musical memory lane. Mathew Street is one of the most famous streets in the world, and is synonymous with the Cavern Club and The Beatles. You will have chance to have your photo taken in front of the Cavern Club and see all the links along the street and the area to The Beatles story. Later you can return to the Cavern Club for a drink or two.
- Royal Albert Dock Liverpool: As your guide escorts you around the waterfront to the Pump House on the famous Royal Albert dock, you pass by the bronze statue to Bill Fury which has become the fans shrine to him. As you near the end of the tour- the reason for the visit to the Pump Room will be revealed with a final & interesting story of Liverpool and the role it had in The Beatles journey.
